Imagine moving without limitations, feeling lighter, and truly at home in your body. On Maui, your journey to lasting comfort and ease begins here.
Are you struggling with:
Chronic pain?
Recovering from an injury?
Seeking relief from poor posture that impacts your daily life?
I’m Sacha Prescott, a Certified Rolfer and Structural Integration practitioner right here on Maui, in Haiku. For over 20 years, I’ve helped individuals like you transform their relationship with their bodies, guiding them toward lasting comfort, strength, and fluidity.
What is Rolfing Structural Integration? Your Path to Lasting Body Alignment
As Dr. Ida P. Rolf, the founder of this transformative bodywork method, famously said: “When the body gets working appropriately, the force of gravity can flow through. Then, spontaneously, the body heals itself.”
Rolfing Structural Integration is more than just a massage; it’s a systematic process designed to reorganize your body’s entire fascial network—the intricate web of connective tissue that gives you shape and support. Through a unique 10-session series of hands-on manipulation and movement education, we work together to:
Release deep-seated tension and chronic patterns of holding.
Improve your posture and balance in relation to gravity.
Alleviate chronic pain in areas like the back, neck, shoulders, and hips.
Increase flexibility and range of motion.
Enhance athletic performance and prevent injuries.
Foster a profound sense of body awareness and vitality.
This educational process helps your body “unlearn” restrictive habits and return to its natural state of ease and efficiency, allowing you to move through life with greater freedom and enjoyment.
Meet Sacha Prescott: Your Certified Rolfer on Maui
My journey into Rolfing began at a young age, further cemented by a severe back injury that profoundly reestablished my admiration for this work. Witnessing the remarkable transformations in my own yoga students after they experienced Rolfing, I knew this was my calling.
I received my initial training at the prestigious Rolf Institute in Boulder, CO in 2004, pursued advanced studies there in 2005, and completed specialized training in Brazil in 2006.
My approach to Rolfing is built on a cohesive partnership with you. I believe in dynamic movement during sessions to reeducate your muscles and enhance your body awareness. My touch is informed and precise, yet always gentle and mindful of your comfort level.
With over two decades as a yoga instructor (Bikram, Ashtanga, Shadow) and a background as a certified GYROTONIC® instructor, I bring a rich understanding of movement, anatomy, and holistic wellness to every session. This diverse experience allows me to offer a truly integrated and intuitive approach to your body’s unique needs.
What clients are saying
I have had three private yoga lessons with Sacha over the past 6 months, to learn some Shadow Yoga, which has been really fun and challenging for me.
Today I had my first Rolfing session with her, and I think everyone out in Yelpville should know what a skilled, knowledgeable practitioner is Sacha.
She identified a twist in the muscles of my torso, hips and thighs; she worked comprehensively to change the pattern such that after an hour and fifteen minutes of her work, I walked out feeling better than I can remember feeling in over a year. Rolfing is an incredible form of manual physical therapy when applied like she does!!

I was referred to Sasha by my chiropractor due to chronic back pain issues exacerbated by both surfing and daily repetitive computer work. I have tried Rolfing in the past, but I didn't see the results for which I was hoping. With Sasha, I've been so impressed! She is by far one of the most skilled bodyworkers that I have ever seen (and I've worked with a lot). Sasha has helped me become aware of and change harmful, unconscious patterns in the way that I hold and move my body that contribute to pain and dysfunction. The Rolfing sessions themselves are incredibly deep and healing. I'm nearly done with the 10 series, but I plan on being a lifelong client of Sasha's. If you are an athlete or suffering with any kind of chronic pain, I highly recommend Sasha's services. Mahalo, Sasha! I can't thank you enough!

Sacha is an excellent Rolfer. I am so grateful to have found her... I suffered a traumatic traffic accident, over 20 years ago, which led to serious structural damage. It also caused me to suffer a stroke, which caused areas of long-term paralysis on my left hand side. My athletic body fell apart... Though to little avail, I never stopped trying to recover... But a real turning point came when I met my first certified advanced Rolfer, Anne Hoff(Maui)...and later Tim Greenstreet(Santa Cruz, CA). I started with the Rolfing "10 series" with Anne and Tim, I was able to recover far more function, in 16 total sessions of Rolfing, than all other modalities(western or eastern) combined over about a 20 year recovery period. Recently, I spontaneously recovered from the remaining paralysis issues, and so was given the chance to have a normal life again. But I had a seriously structurally imbalanced body, with areas of atrophy and diminished function. An Anne was no longer on-island, and I needed to find a great Rolfer. And new problems were emerging: sciatica, shoulder rotator issues, foot problems, and more... I just couldn't really get off the ground... For some reason it took me almost 6 years to find the wonderful Rolfer, Sacha Prescott, who practices in Haiku, Maui. When Sacha and I recently started a new round of the "10-series", I knew the potential for the recovery, but was cautiously optimistic... I have been to a few Rolfers who weren't ready to deal with my broken body. Sacha has been so amazing...and results are apparent! Now, after 10 new treatments from Sacha, I am actually structurally balanced again. Breathing better, walking straight, sleeping better, better posture and attitude. A real miracle. Today, I finally went to see my chiropractor, John Avallone(Pacific Chiropractic, Kihei), for an adjustment, and he was shocked at the mobility and balance of my legs, pelvis and shoulders. He also remarked at how my "always tight" and hard to adjust back was relaxed, sound and healthy... Yes, today was a day to celebrate!! Big mahalo to Sacha Prescott, at 5th Line Rolfing!!! I was in a dark place when I found you. Now, 13 weeks later, I am in a great place to begin life again... Jason in Kihei

Sacha is amazing! My husband and I signed up for the 10 part Rolfing series. I had never heard of Rolfing before (my husband read about it) and thus entered the whole experience with no expectations or ideas on what it was all about. It's been 3 months since that point and Rolfing has been one of the best experiences in body work that I've done so far. Being relatively healthy (mid 20s) people, I wasn't sure at first, what Rolfing could do for me. It did so much! I came to Sacha with minor back problems and wobbly ankles (I tend to roll out on my ankles a lot) and she was able to help me through both. My husband, is very flat-footed and his R leg turn out quite noticeable. She was able to straighten that out on the first try! Overall, I think the best thing we both got out of this experience was a sense of "body awareness." As part of the Rolfing, Sacha will teach you ways to stay in tune with your body to prevent aches and pains. She's helped me learned to walk with my shoulder and lengthened my stride. Before, I used to walk very heavily and thus become exhausted quickly. I also was very clumsy bc of my weak ankles. Today I find I can walk much longer and I don't feel the strain in my shins as much.
I would honestly say that Rolfing is not for everyone. It is a bit painful but nothing that a little breathing and concentration can't handle. However, if you're the type of person that can't handle deep tissue massage, then I would not recommend Rolfing for you. Also, remember that Rolfing can't fix EVERYTHING. So, you can always do a consult with Sacha to see if it'd be worth your time. Secondly, Rolfing is a commitment. Be sure to block out enough time for it bc the therapy works in sequence. Lastly, Rolfing is an active process which means you are involved in making the changes in your body. Sacha usually gave me homework to think about between the sessions. It was a way to engage my body to use the tissue that she worked to loosen so that the changes would be more long lasting.
In the end, I think Sacha is a wonderful person and therapist. She is funny, smart and super easy to get along with. She has amazingly strong hands and years of experience. I would recommend her even for a regular massage.

I was a little apprehensive for my 1st appointment but felt comfortable as soon as I met Sacha. She's given me a little hope which is something I haven’t felt for a while now.
